What we do
SB Grip supplies the gear and the people that put a production on its feet. Camera support, sound, grip, and lighting, plus the trucks to bring it and the crew to run it. One call covers the package and the people.
Full production support for narrative, commercial, and broadcast shoots. Camera, sound, grip, and electric, scaled to the size of your day.
Stocked grip trucks roll in with stands, flags, rigging, Fisher and Chapman camera dollies, and the generators and power distribution to run it all. If the shot needs it, it is already on the truck.
Modern LED, traditional tungsten, and big HMI units up to 18K, from a single key to a full stage. Shaped, balanced, and dialed in for the look you want.
Stage lighting, uplighting, and crew for conferences, concerts, and brand events. We light the room so it reads on camera and in person.
Behind the crew
SB Grip is owner Ray Hinton Jr, in film and television since 1987. Network broadcast at ABC and NBC, the NFL on NFL Network, the red carpet for the Golden Globes and Academy Awards, and a Netflix documentary along the way. Three-time Emmy winner.
On set
Soundstages, theaters, working hangars, and event floors. We have rigged set builds, hung overhead grids, and lit stages where the schedule does not wait. The gear shows up complete and the crew knows what to do with it.
